Lamar Football Week was a great success. The week long special promotion brought over 150 donors out who not only wanted to support the new Lamar University Football program, but to save lives, too! Several football players and staff were on hand to meet and greet fans and help recruit blood donors. Every donor was entered into a drawing for a pair of 2010 Season Tickets and given a special Lamar University Blood Donor t-shirt sponsored by Academy and Cotton Cargo. The winner of the season tickets was LaDonna Young, a regular LifeShare donor and drive chair person. Thank you to all of our wonderful donors for giving the gift of life during the Lamar Football Week.
