LifeShare Recognized in Natchitoches
The Natchitoches Parish Chamber of Commerce recognized LifeShare with the “2007 Corporate Partner of the Year” award during the annual Natchitoches meeting on February 5, 2008.
In front of approximately 200 guests Mary Ann Nunley, Chamber Board President, announced that this award is given each year to the corporation or company who contributes the most to the Natchitoches community during the year. “We usually give this award to the company that had the biggest economic impact and/or contributed the most financially to our area. This year our award winner is a state-wide company that gives constantly- they save lives, and they make sure our community has blood” added Nunley.
Central Region Executive Director, Denny Moore, accepted the award on behalf of LifeShare and thanked the people of Natchitoches for being such a giving community.
LifeShare joins previous annual winners of this award such as: Northwestern University, City of Natchitoches, WalMart, Pilgrims Pride, Martco Plywood, and Alliance Compressors.
Incoming Board President, Glen Monsour, remarked: “LifeShare always responds when we call them and they are always there doing their work to help our community. We greatly appreciate them as a true partner to Natchitoches”.
